This is a courtesy translation. The German version is the legally binding one.

General terms and conditions for all of my services

  • Liability insurance, valid vaccinations and a microchip (EU pet passport) are required.
  • Health restrictions and behavioural issues must be disclosed in advance.
  • Being in heat must be reported before group training. Female dogs in heat cannot take part on the days of standing heat. If heat isn't reported, exclusion follows, and the full course fee is still due.
  • Participation is at your own risk and responsibility.
  • The trainer's instructions must be followed.

Cancellation fees

Cancellations must always be made in writing (by email to steffi@peach-hundetraining.de).

Initial consultations:

  • Up to 48 hours before the appointment: €25 cancellation fee
  • Less than 48 hours before: 50% of the agreed fee

Individual training and behaviour consulting:

  • Up to 24 hours before: free of charge
  • Less than 24 hours before: 50% of the agreed fee

Group training, intensive courses, social walks and social contact sessions:

  • Up to 48 hours before: choice between a free make-up session (valid for 6 months, non-transferable, non-refundable, only for the registered person) or cancellation with a €5 processing fee.
  • Less than 48 hours before: full fee due.

Muzzle consulting:

  • Up to 48 hours before the appointment: free of charge
  • Less than 48 hours before: €25 cancellation fee

Workshops:

  • Up to 6 weeks before: 10% of the fee, at least €25
  • Up to 2 weeks before: 30% of the fee, at least €25
  • Within 2 weeks before, no-show or discontinuation: no refund

Cancellation always applies to the whole event. A partial refund for individual sessions/days is excluded.

Payment for no-shows or late arrival:

If you fail to show up without cancelling, or arrive late, the full fee is due. Missed time will not be made up.

General terms and conditions

  • 1 Subject of the service agreement

The subject of the service agreement is the provision of individual sessions, group lessons, home visits, seminars, courses, consultations (in person or online), talks and other dog-related events.

  • 2 Guarantee

No guarantee of success can be given. Success essentially depends on the dog owner's work with their dog. Peach Hundetraining only provides recommendations for action. The success of the methods and recommendations conveyed depends in particular on their implementation by the dog owner outside of the training sessions. Implementing the training suggestions is solely at the client's discretion and happens, both during and outside the training session, at the client's own risk.

  • 3 Participation requirements

By registering, the client confirms that the dog: has valid liability insurance; has valid vaccinations and a microchip (EU pet passport including chip number).

It is further confirmed that the dog is healthy, or that any health issues are disclosed. Peach Hundetraining reserves the right to exclude sick dogs from training. Peach Hundetraining accepts no liability for injuries during training; participation is at the client's own risk.

Behavioural issues must be truthfully disclosed before training begins. In particular, it must be disclosed if the dog reacts aggressively towards people or other animals, or if there have already been biting incidents or similar events. In such cases, a muzzle must always be brought to the training sessions and fitted to the dog before training begins. If a suitable muzzle is not yet available, this must be disclosed in advance.

Peach Hundetraining may at any time require the dog to be secured using appropriate, animal-welfare-compliant aids (e.g. a muzzle). If the client refuses to use the required aids during training, or has not disclosed the behavioural issue in advance, the training will be discontinued. In this case, the full fee for the booked course unit remains payable by the client.

A female dog's heat must be disclosed to Peach Hundetraining before group training. If heat is not disclosed and the client still attends group training, Peach Hundetraining reserves the right to exclude the client for the duration of the heat. In the case of non-disclosure, the full course fee remains payable. Participation with a female dog in standing heat is excluded from seminars. If cancellation is not made in time, the full course fee remains payable by the client.

The trainer's instructions must always be followed. Rule violations lead to immediate exclusion from the training session without a refund of the participation fee.

The dog must always be kept on a leash. Off-leash time is only permitted on the trainer's instruction. Damage caused by the dog at the training location must be compensated in full.

  • 4 Conclusion of contract (registration)

The client registers by email or via the registration form on the website www.peach-hundetraining.de, and this becomes binding for the client upon receipt. By registering, the client accepts these terms and conditions. Registration is binding and obliges payment even in the case of a no-show. A refund is not possible. Participation of minors requires registration by a parent/legal guardian and subsequent on-site supervision by a parent/legal guardian. Training duration and the corresponding costs follow the respective listing for the booked training unit. Prices can be found on the Peach Hundetraining website (www.peach-hundetraining.de). Training location and time may be changed by Peach Hundetraining at short notice. Peach Hundetraining reserves the right to postpone or cancel training sessions. There is no general entitlement to participate in a service. Peach Hundetraining reserves the right to decline registrations without giving reasons. The conclusion of contract is divided into individual consultations (initial consultations, individual sessions, phone consultations), group courses, and the booking of events such as seminars, workshops and hikes.

  • 5 Payments

5.1 Current prices can be found on the website or will be provided on request by phone or email.

5.2 Payment for individual sessions, group sessions and consultations (in person or online) is due by bank transfer within 14 days of invoicing.

5.3 Payment for courses, workshops, seminars and online consultations is always due in advance according to the due date stated on the invoice. If the fee is not paid, or paid late, the right to participate lapses.

5.4 Peach Hundetraining reserves the right to charge a processing fee for invoicing after late payments.

  • 6 Cancellations & terminations | withdrawal by the client

Participants may withdraw from the registration contract before the event begins. Withdrawal must be made in writing. Simply not showing up does not count as withdrawal.

Late arrival is at the client's expense; missed time will not be made up. In these cases the full training fee is due. The same applies to a no-show without prior cancellation.

In the event of withdrawal, Peach Hundetraining may claim flat-rate compensation for damages and expenses without further proof:

6.1 Initial consultations

Cancellation of an initial consultation must be made at least 48 hours before the agreed appointment.

Cancellation costs are: - Up to 48 hours before the appointment: €25 cancellation fee - Less than 48 hours before the appointment: 50% of the agreed fee

6.2 Individual training and (phone/online) consultations

Cancellation of individual training or (phone/online) consultations must be made at least 24 hours before the agreed appointment. The following cancellation terms apply: - Up to 24 hours before the appointment: free of charge - Less than 24 hours before the appointment: 50% of the agreed fee

6.3 Group training (e.g. social walks):

Cancellation of group training must be made at least 48 hours before the agreed appointment. - Up to 48 hours before the event begins, you may cancel and receive a make-up session. This is credited to the client's account and can be flexibly redeemed within 6 months. - The make-up session is non-transferable, non-refundable and can only be used by the originally registered participant. - Alternatively to a make-up session, the training appointment can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the event begins. In this case a €5 processing fee is charged for the cancellation. - If cancelled less than 48 hours before the training appointment, the full fee is due.

6.4 Workshops, seminars, multi-hour courses and similar events:

The following cancellation terms apply to multi-hour services such as seminars and workshops:

- Up to 6 weeks before the event begins: 10% of the participation fee, but at least €25 - Up to 2 weeks before the event begins: 30% of the participation fee, but at least €25 - Within 2 weeks before the event begins, in case of a no-show or discontinuation of the event: no refund of the participation fee

Cancellation always applies to the entire event. A partial refund of individual course dates or days is excluded.

6.5 Muzzle consulting:

The following cancellation terms apply to muzzle consulting:

- Up to 48 hours before the appointment: free of charge

- Less than 48 hours before: €25 cancellation fee

  • 7 Cancellations & termination — withdrawal by Peach Hundetraining

Peach Hundetraining generally reserves the right to postpone or cancel training sessions. If no replacement offer can be arranged in the event of a cancelled session, or if the participant cannot make use of it, payments already made will be refunded. Further claims (e.g. travel or accommodation costs) against Peach Hundetraining are excluded.

  • 8 Exclusion from participation

Peach Hundetraining reserves the right to exclude clients who endanger the smooth running of an event from the training session. In particular, Peach Hundetraining has the right to exclude clients if instructions are repeatedly not followed and this results in the client knowingly accepting dangerous situations.

Sick dogs may also be excluded from participation. Exclusion does not entitle the client to a reduction of the fee and does not give rise to a claim for compensation for missed sessions.

  • 9 Copyright

All documents, images, videos etc. provided by Peach Hundetraining are protected by copyright and remain the property of Peach Hundetraining. They are intended solely for the client's personal use. Reproducing and passing on these documents to third parties is prohibited. Violations will result in legal action.

  • 10 Liability

Peach Hundetraining accepts no liability whatsoever for personal injury, property damage or financial loss suffered by the dog owner, their dog, or accompanying persons as a result of

- applying the exercises shown

- the trainer intervening

- dogs being off-leash

- scuffles between own or other dogs while off-leash

- participating, or in connection with participating, in the lesson. The only exception to this is liability for intentional acts. All accompanying persons must be informed of this liability exclusion by the dog owner. Participation is at your own risk. Every instance of participation, attendance or exercise by participating people and dogs in the group and individual sessions happens solely at their own risk. This also applies to other services such as dog hikes and walks. The participant remains the responsible animal keeper and supervisor within the meaning of §§ 833, 834 of the German Civil Code (BGB) during group and individual sessions (as well as during all other events).

  • 11 Photo and video material

Photo and video recordings by the client are only permitted with prior consultation and approval from Peach Hundetraining. Publication on social media (e.g. Facebook or Instagram) likewise requires explicit approval from Peach Hundetraining.

Peach Hundetraining may, as needed, partially record training sessions for documentation purposes. By participating, the client generally agrees to the publication and use of these images and videos for advertising purposes on the Peach Hundetraining website and social media feeds.

Publishing excerpts from individual training sessions only happens after prior consultation with the client.

  • 12 Invalidity of individual clauses

Should individual provisions of this agreement be or become invalid or unenforceable, either now or after the contract is concluded, the validity of the remainder of the agreement remains unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision whose effect comes closest to the economic purpose the parties pursued with the invalid or unenforceable provision. The above applies accordingly if the agreement turns out to have a gap.

  • 13 Other provisions

The client agrees that Peach Hundetraining may store their personal data for the purpose of making contact, and use it accordingly for that purpose. The client is aware that images and videos sent to Peach Hundetraining are temporarily stored on Peach Hundetraining's device.
