General information

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in our privacy policy listed below this text.

Data collection on this website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the section "Note on the responsible party" in this privacy policy.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected, on the one hand, from information you provide to us. This may, for example, be data you enter into a contact form.

Other data is collected automatically, or after your consent, when you visit the website, by our IT systems. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system, or the time the page was accessed). This data is collected automatically as soon as you access this website.

What do we use your data for?

Some of the data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour. If contracts can be concluded or initiated through the website, the transmitted data is also processed for contract offers, orders, or other enquiries.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You furthermore have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You additionally have a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

You can contact us at any time regarding this and any further questions about data protection.

2. Hosting

We host the content of our website with the following provider:

External hosting

This website is hosted externally. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the servers of the hosting provider(s). This may primarily include IP addresses, contact requests, meta- and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website access data, and other data generated via a website.

External hosting takes place for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our (potential and existing) customers (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). If corresponding consent was requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Our host(s) will process your data only to the extent necessary to fulfil their service obligations and will follow our instructions with regard to this data.

We use the following host(s):

3. General notes and mandatory information

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various pieces of personal data are collected. Personal data is data that can be used to personally identify you. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Note on the responsible party

The party responsible for data processing on this website is:

Stefanie Pietzsch, Seestraße 59/1, 69214 Eppelheim, Germany

Phone: +49 163 4215412, email: steffi@peach-hundetraining.de

The responsible party is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).

Storage duration

Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion, or revoke consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, deletion takes place once these reasons no longer apply.

General notes on the legal bases for data processing on this website

If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, or Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR if special categories of data under Art. 9 (1) GDPR are processed. In the case of explicit consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing is additionally based on Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or access to information on your device (e.g. via device fingerprinting), data processing additionally takes place on the basis of § 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time. If your data is required for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Furthermore, we process your data insofar as this is required to fulfil a legal obligation, on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR. Data processing may also take place on the basis of our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Information on the relevant legal bases in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.

Recipients of personal data

As part of our business activities, we work with various external parties. This sometimes also requires the transfer of personal data to these external parties. We only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in the disclosure, or if some other legal basis permits the data transfer. When using data processors, we only pass on our customers' personal data on the basis of a valid data processing agreement. In the case of joint processing, a joint controllership agreement is concluded.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR)

IF DATA PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6 (1) (E) OR (F) GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AT ANY TIME TO OBJECT, FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION, TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA, UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21 (1) GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH ADVERTISING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21 (2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent technically feasible.

Access, rectification and deletion

Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, and, where applicable, a right to have this data corrected or deleted. You can contact us at any time regarding this and any further questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time to do so. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data happened/happens unlawfully, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data – apart from being stored – may only be processed with your consent, or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://", and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Objection to promotional emails

The use of contact details published within the scope of the legal notice obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby objected to. The site operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of promotional information, such as through spam emails.

4. Data collection on this website

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is required for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), if this was requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

The contact form is transmitted via the service Web3Forms. The details you enter (name, email address, postal address, optionally your phone number, information about your dog and your message) are sent to Web3Forms and delivered from there to us by email. This is done for the purpose of technically delivering your enquiry on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR or our legitimate interest in a working contact channel (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is not passed on for any other purpose.

Enquiry by email, phone or fax

If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.

The data you send to us via contact enquiries remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Communication via WhatsApp

For communication with our clients and other third parties, we use, among other channels, the instant messaging service WhatsApp. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.

Communication takes place via end-to-end (peer-to-peer) encryption, which prevents WhatsApp or other third parties from accessing the content of the communication. However, WhatsApp does gain access to metadata generated during the communication process (e.g. sender, recipient and time). We further note that WhatsApp, according to its own statements, shares personal data of its users with its US-based parent company, Meta. Further details on data processing can be found in WhatsApp's privacy policy at: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/#privacy-policy.

The use of WhatsApp is based on our legitimate interest in the fastest and most effective possible communication with clients, prospective clients and other business and contractual partners (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). If corresponding consent was requested, data processing takes place exclusively on the basis of consent; this can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

The communication content exchanged between you and us via WhatsApp remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF commits to complying with these data protection standards. Further information is available from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/7735.

We use the "WhatsApp Business" variant.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/business-data-transfer-addendum.

Google Forms

We have integrated Google Forms on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter "Google").

Google Forms allows us to create online forms in order to record messages, enquiries and other input from our website visitors in a structured way. All input you provide is processed on Google's servers. Google Forms stores a cookie in your browser that contains a unique ID (NID cookie). This cookie stores various information, such as your language settings.

The use of Google Forms is based on our legitimate interest in determining your request in the most user-friendly way possible (Art.

The data you enter in the form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/.

The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF commits to complying with these data protection standards. Further information is available from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.

5. Analytics tools and advertising

Google Ads

The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Ads allows us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when a user enters certain search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Targeted advertisements can also be displayed based on user data available to Google (e.g. location data and interests, i.e. audience targeting). As website operators, we can evaluate this data quantitatively, for example by analysing which search terms led to our ads being displayed, and how many ads led to corresponding clicks.

The use of this service is based on your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/controllerterms/.

Google Ads conversion tracking

We use Google Ads conversion tracking. When you click one of our ads, a cookie is placed on your device. If you then visit certain pages of this website and carry out an action there – specifically submitting the contact form or clicking our phone number – Google and we can tell that this action followed the ad click. We only receive aggregated figures and cannot identify you personally.

The use of this service is based on your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar recognition technologies to evaluate how this website is used – for example which pages are viewed, how long a visit lasts, and which channel brought you to us.

Google processes your IP address in truncated form. We have limited the retention period for user and event data to 14 months. We do not merge the analytics data with your Google account.

The use of this service is based on your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

Consent and revocation (consent mode)

The first time you visit this website, a notice at the bottom of the screen asks whether you consent to measurement by Google Analytics and Google Ads. Until you consent, these services set no cookies and transmit no identifiers; Google then only receives anonymous signals with no reference to your device (Google consent mode).

Your decision is stored in your browser's local storage under the key peach-consent. You can revoke it at any time by clearing this site's website data in your browser – you will then be asked again on your next visit.

6. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered into the newsletter sign-up form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can revoke the consent you have given to the storage of the data, the email address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us, or by the newsletter service provider, until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe or after the purpose no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block email addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion, within the scope of our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist, if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used only for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the statutory requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not time-limited. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

7. Plugins and tools

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Tag Manager is not an analytics tool itself and stores no cookies: it is purely the tool used to embed the services described above (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking) on this website and to activate them in line with your consent. Data is therefore only collected by those services themselves.

It is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in managing these services consistently and with minimal data (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Google Fonts

This site uses so-called Google Fonts, provided by Google, for the consistent display of typefaces. When you access a page, your browser loads the required fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. This makes Google aware that this website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Fonts is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the consistent presentation of the typeface on their website.

If your browser does not support Google Fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.

Further information on Google Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

8. eCommerce and payment providers

Processing of customer and contract data

We collect, process and use personal customer and contract data for the purpose of establishing, structuring the content of, and modifying our contractual relationships. Personal data on the use of this website (usage data) is collected, processed and used by us only to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service, or to bill for it. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

The collected customer data is deleted after the order has been completed, or the business relationship has ended, and any applicable statutory retention periods have expired. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

9. Audio and video conferencing

Data processing

For communication with our clients, we use, among other things, online conferencing tools. The tools we specifically use are listed below. When you communicate with us via video or audio conference over the internet, your personal data is collected and processed by us and by the provider of the respective conferencing tool.

The conferencing tools collect all data that you provide/use to use the tools (email address and/or your phone number). The conferencing tools further process the duration of the conference, the start and end (time) of participation in the conference, the number of participants, and other "contextual information" related to the communication process (metadata).

Furthermore, the tool provider processes all technical data required to carry out the online communication. This includes in particular IP addresses, MAC addresses, device IDs, device type, operating system type and version, client version, camera type, microphone or speakers, and the type of connection.

Insofar as content is exchanged, uploaded, or otherwise made available within the tool, this is likewise stored on the servers of the tool providers. Such content includes in particular cloud recordings, chat/instant messages, voicemails, uploaded photos and videos, files, whiteboards, and other information shared during use of the service.

Please note that we do not have full control over the data processing operations of the tools used. Our options are largely determined by the corporate policy of the respective provider. Further information on data processing by the conferencing tools can be found in the privacy policies of the respective tools used, which we have listed below this text.

Purpose and legal bases

The conferencing tools are used to communicate with prospective or existing contractual partners, or to offer certain services to our clients (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Furthermore, the use of the tools serves to generally simplify and speed up communication with us or our company (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Insofar as consent was requested, the use of the respective tools is based on this consent; consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

Storage duration

Data collected directly by us via the video and conferencing tools is deleted from our systems as soon as you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

We have no influence over the storage duration of your data that is stored by the operators of the conferencing tools for their own purposes. For details on this, please contact the operators of the conferencing tools directly.

Conferencing tools used

We use the following conferencing tools:

Microsoft Teams

We use Microsoft Teams. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Details on data processing can be found in Microsoft Teams' privacy policy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement.

The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF commits to complying with these data protection standards. Further information is available from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/6474.

Data processing agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract required under data protection law, which ensures that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
