Over the course of its life, every dog can end up in situations where a muzzle is helpful or legally required. A wire muzzle protects against biting or unwanted eating while still leaving enough depth for panting or drinking (unlike the plastic models from the pet shop). With over 200 models on the market, finding the right one isn’t easy at all.

Advice on the right model
If you already own a muzzle for your dog, I’m happy to check the fit. If you haven’t found a muzzle model yet, I’ll advise you on suitable options. After the session you’ll receive all the details you need to order the right muzzle and accessories.

Getting used to the muzzle
Once the muzzle has been delivered to you, I can fit the accessories for you on request. I’ll also show you how to get your dog used to wearing a muzzle.

For this I need your dog’s snout measurements

• Length: measured on top, from about 1 cm from the eye to the tip of the nose
• Width: at the widest point of the snout, about 1.5 cm below the eyes
• Circumference: measured with the mouth closed, all the way around the snout, about 1.5 cm below the eyes

Tip: if you don’t have a flexible tape measure at hand, just use a piece of string and measure it against a straight ruler afterwards.
